A new genus and two new species of Xustrostomatidae Hunt, 2002 (Nematoda: Rhigonematomorpha) from the West Indies Pap. Avulsos de Zool. (São Paulo)
García,Nayla; Morffe,Jans.
A new genus and two new species of xustrostomatids (Nematoda: Xustrostomatidae) are described parasitizing diplopods from the West Indies. Trachyglossoides jimenoi gen. nov. sp. nov. from Cuba, is similar to Trachyglossus Hunt, 2002. It differs by having the female genital tract monodelphic, feature unique in the family. This constitutes the second record of the family from the country. Zalophora dominicana sp. nov. from the Dominican Republic resembles Z. repentina García & Morffe, 2010. It can be segregate by having a minor development of the cephalic crests and the cephalic end barely inflated. This constitutes the first record of the family and genus for the Dominican Republic.

A new specie of Artigasia Christie, 1934 (Oxyurida: Hystrignathidae) from a Cuban passalid beetle Pap. Avulsos de Zool. (São Paulo)
Morffe,Jans; García,Nayla.
Artigasia milerai sp. nov. (Oxyurida: Hystrignathidae) is described from the gut caeca of Passalus interstitialis Escholtz, 1829 (Coleoptera: Passalidae) from Escaleras de Jaruco, La Habana province, Cuba (type locality) and El Pan de Matanzas, Matanzas province, Cuba. It differs from A. ensicrinata (Hunt, 1981), A. monodelpha (Travassos & Kloss, 1958) and A. pauliani Théodoridès, 1955 by having ridged eggs and a comparatively shorter tail. It also differs from A. monodelpha and A. pauliani by having a comparatively shorter esophagus, the vulva being slightly more posterior, and the extension of the cervical spines. It is close to A. ankaratrae Van Waerebeke, 1973 but can be differentiated by a stouter body, a comparatively shorter oesophagus and...

García,Nayla; Morffe,Jans.
Rhigonema nesoboli sp. nov. (Nematoda: Rhigonematidae) is described from the gut of Nesobolus piedra (Diplopoda: Rhinocricidae) from Eastern Cuba. The new species is characterized by: the body length of both sexes; the cephalic collar umbelliform; the microtricha large, fine, backwardly directed, extending until the first portion of the intestine; the tail comparatively long and subulate in the female and elbowed in the male; the genital tract of Type 4; a number of 19-21 copulatory papillae arranged as 6-7 pre-cloacal pairs with a single median adanal papillae and three post-cloacal pairs; and the spicules arcuate and comparatively slender. It is closer to R. villosum Hunt, 1995, but differs by having a shorter body in both sexes and less copulatory...
